“I chose this profession as I believe it is one that allows me to make positive contributions to the lives of others. Today, I celebrate the stories of many I have been able to help.”
“My personality and personal values influence my counseling approach. I believe one size does not fit all so I treat people as individuals and always consider the needs of the overall person. I therefore embrace various approaches to therapeutic treatment and often incorporate person-centered, solution-focused, motivational-enhancement therapy (MET) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) in treatment. The individual is his or her best expert. I endorse a wide variety of cultural experiences, and as a Christian believer my values carry a spiritual influence as well that has been a cornerstone to my own health and wellness. I look forward to this journey of healing with you.”
Asham is currently accepting new clients for our Hartford office in person and via Telehealth. He is currently paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Husky, and in the process of being paneled with Aetna and Tricare. He also accepts self-pay and out of network plans.
