Kelly Anziano is a psychotherapist and addiction specialist. Kelly is an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC), an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC), a Connecticut Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) through the Connecticut Certification Board and a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LADC) through the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. Kelly began her career in 1996 working with pregnant substance abusers and addicted mothers and she has more than 13 years-experience working with individuals and families struggling with opiate dependence and is a trained expert in medication assisted treatment both medically and therapeutically utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motiviational Enhancement Therapy (MET) treatment intervention models. She also has extensive experience working with clients who are involved with the Department of Children and Families and the legal system. Kelly has extensive experience in both individual and group counseling, as well as working with co-occurring disorders.
